T. Hutch Jobe
Vice President – Geoscience & Exploration
Hutch Jobe joined SM Energy Company as the Exploration manager in the Mid-Continent region located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 2007. Mr. Jobe was appointed vice president of Geoscience and Exploration in April of 2009.Mr. Jobe has more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining SM Energy, he spent 10 years as a geologic advisor with Burlington Resources/ConocoPhillips focusing in the Rocky Mountains and the Michigan Basin. Prior to this he was employed by UNOCAL for 12 years as a geologic advisor with responsibilities in Alabama, Illinois, Michigan, Oklahoma, and South Texas.
Mr. Jobe holds both master of science and bachelor of science degrees in geology from Oklahoma State University. He has been a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists since 1982 and is a licensed professional geoscientist in both Texas and Wyoming.
